Arthur Wayne Powers, 69 of Newbern, Tennessee died on Tuesday, June 25, 2019, at his residence in Newbern, Tennessee.
Born Thursday, March 30, 1950 in Dyer County, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Arthur Bryant Powers and the late Nellie Glass Powers. Mr. Powers was a retired employee of Dairy Queen.
Private family graveside services will be held at Fairview Cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee.
He is survived by three sisters, Pearlie Wingate of Newbern, Tennessee Evaleen Tucker of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Doris Fay Brock of Finley, Tennessee and one nephew, Shawn Riley of Newbern, Tennessee.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, O. W. Davidson; one sister, Ann Phillips and two nephews, Jamie Riley and Scottie Moss.
